When do you use the Barbecook BBQ lighter?
A charcoal barbecue is often considered to be the only real barbecue. Yet many people still fear that it is difficult to light this type of BBQ. With the Barbecook BBQ lighter this problem is immediately solved. This BBQ lighter doesn’t only have a sleek design, it is also wind-resistant and refillable. So the environment is also taken into account! Lighting a barbecue starts with good charcoal. Fill the bowl of your charcoal barbecue with a layer of coals and put some Barbecook lighter cubes in between. Light the lighter cubes with the BBQ lighter and wait until a thin layer of grey ash appears on the coals. Add some extra coals and wait again until there is a thin layer of grey ash on all coals. After this, the grilling can begin. Would you like to make it even easier for yourself? Then use the Barbecook charcoal starter. Put some lighter cubes on the bottom grid of your barbecue, fill the charcoal starter with charcoal and place it above the lighter cubes. Then light the lighter cubes with the Barbecook BBQ lighter. The narrow handle of the BBQ lighter fits perfectly between the holes of the charcoal starter. The great advantage of this method is that the starter sucks in the hot air from below and spreads it through the coals. When the edges of the charcoal glow and are covered with a thin layer of grey ash, they are ready for use and you can carefully drop them into the barbecue bowl thanks to the Safe-drop system. Then add some more charcoal to the barbecue bowl until it is half full. Wait until all the coals are white/hot and let's go! A final method of lighting a charcoal barbecue is thanks to the well-known QuickStart® system. All Loewy and Adam charcoal barbecues have the QuickStart® system. Thanks to this method, lighting your barbecue becomes child's play! Insert 3 double sheets of newspaper into the lighting tube of your Loewy or Adam charcoal barbecue. Put a layer of charcoal in the barbecue bowl. Light the newspaper with the Barbecook BBQ lighter. This can easily be done through the holes at the bottom of your BBQ. Provide sufficient air in the barbecue bowl by controlling the adjustable air supply. Add extra coals when there is a grey layer on your coals. After 10 to 15 minutes, your Barbecook charcoal barbecue is grill-ready! Let's Barbecook & Grill! Good luck!
