Complicated culinary feats are great and everything, but you don’t need to spend hours at the grill to make something that tastes amazing. Grilled sandwiches make the perfect lunch, snack or barbecue appetizers. The great thing about grilled sandwiches is that you can fill them with pretty much anything you like. We’ve gone for a Mediterranean combo with goats’ cheese and Italian ham and we’re preparing it using our elastic grill, which allows us to flip our sandwich at the flick of the wrist.
- Light your charcoal grill using the Quickstart system.
- Fill the sandwich with the goats’ cheese, honey and ham.
- Place the sandwich inside the elastic grill and close it.
- Regularly turn the elastic grill over the flame so the sandwich gets an even colour on both sides.
Tip: Serve with a salad of rocket, cherry tomatoes, walnuts and balsamic cream.
