INGREDIENTS

Rib eye steak
For the marinade:
1.00 pc
red chilli pepper
100.00 ml
red wine
50.00 ml
crème de cassis
4.00 tbs
olive oil
1.00 point of a knife
cayenne peppers
2.00 pc
garlic
1.00 pc
shallot
1.00 pc
limes
2.00 tbs
ketchup
Add according to taste:
chilli flakes
pepper
coarse sea salt

Prepare the marinade first. 

Finely chop the garlic and shallot and slice the chilli pepper into thin strips. 

Pour the wine, crème de cassis and olive oil into a saucepan and add the remaining ingredients for the marinade. 

Bring the mixture to the boil and remove from heat. Allow the marinade to cool.


Place the steak in a bowl and cover with the marinade. 

Leave to marinate for approx. 6 hours. 

Sear the meat on high heat and leave to simmer on medium heat. 

Season with pepper, sea salt and chilli flakes.
