| The attire : |
For men a pair of shorts and a thin T-shirt, with flip-flops. If it is warm enough, swimming shorts are sufficient. Women can wear a bikini covered with a pareo. If it is still not warm enough for that, choose a colourful dress or shorts with a top and sandals. Men and women can complete their outfit to their liking with straw hats, flower garlands, trendy sunglasses and caps.
|
| |
| The music : |
There are more than enough festive summer songs: Chihuahua (DJ Bobo), La Bamba (Ritchie Valens), La Camisa Negra (Juanes), Macarena (Los Del Rio), Asereje (Las Ketchep), Walking on Sunshine (Katrina & The Waves), etc. |
|
| The decor: |
Magically transform your garden into a summer paradise, using parasols, deck-chairs and hammocks. Fill your children’s, nephew’s or neighbours’ inflatable swimming pool with water, and include a pile of towels too. Build a bin with 4 wooden boards and fill it with sand, shovels and little pails. With a simple brush stick young and old experience hours of fun by dancing the limbo! When it cools down in the evening, you can light a campfire. To do this you can use the barbecook® firebasket or barbecook® garden fire. |
| |
| Typical food and drinks : |
Whoever says beach party, immediately thinks of cocktails! Mojito, caipirinha, tequila sunrise, blue Hawaiian, Caribbean sunset, piña colada, margarita etc. Serve your cocktail in a big glass bowl, from which your guests can take to their liking! Instead of cocktails you can of course choose pastis, ouzo or sangria too. Choose surprising summer preparations, like mussels on the spit or mince meat skewers from Hawaii, or get inspired by our Greek, Spanish, Mexican or Turkish recipes of the theme-barbecue! As dessert, go for a fruit preparation, try the delicious fruit skewers with ice or the papillot with tropical fruit.
